Lila’s practice is inspired by her natural surroundings which she captures in gentle and beautifully rendered illustrations.
“I take my inspirations from the diverse forms and shapes of nature and primarily work in ink and watercolors, well as graphite and gouache. I keep a herbarium from which I take inspiration. I’m currently studying Geology at Simon Fraser University, which gives me a unique perspective on the natural world.”
