Contemporary Embroidery Workshop with Katy Biele

In Katy’s fun & popular classes, you will learn how to work with embroidery in a more intuitive, artistic way! This class can be for advanced and beginners, just come with your curiosity!

In the class, you will create a floral design on a black background filled with a variety of textures and colours that are inspired by Katy’s travels, her love of colour and her South American heritage! You might even learn a little Spanish ;)

Katy Biele is a South American Artist who works with embroidery and paint. Her work in inspired in her colorful South American culture. She learned embroidery in India when she leaves overseas, after that she has been exploring with modern embroidery using it in different ways. She also paints with watercolors and acrylics creating original paintings in her particular style.
